people don’t value life the way they used to.
what happened to the old america we once knew?
perhaps there never was such a thing as tranquility,
not when theres war on the news for our eyes to see.
theres too much talk about murder,
what ever happened to us being nurtures?
but yet again, perhaps we never were,
so this just in -we need a cure.
the world will never change,
unless we’re all on board.
but our stubbornness revokes us,
which leaves us all on shore.
the ship is sailing america,
its reeling in the anchor.
we could make it on i promise,
if we put way our anger.
in the land of the free,
where you and i make we.
lets put away our weapons,
and watch to see what happens.
