Lay upon me, thy depths of thy waters,
Lay upon me good graces my Father.
Let the path of the stream wash over my fears,
May the only thing it carries is the stream of my tears.
O’ Mystic River.

Thou shall not dream to be something worth more,
Than the bounties of nature nor thy light of earths core.
May we all find the strength to carry our weight,
May we all seek our destiny and find out our fate.
O’ Mystic River.

Here is my message to thy healing sea,
Please would thou mind, bringing strength to me.
And to my sisters, my two older brothers,
And then to my past and present lovers.
O’ Mystic River.

Though I cannot admire,
The luminescence of thy sun.
I know you’re there watching
over all my loved ones.
O’ Mystic River.

As it says in my tagline: I'm just a writer writing about love because that's what all the cool kids are falling into these days. However, the type of love I write about is based more on the likeliness of modern day heartbreak. I originally started this blog as an outlet for therapy. I believe writing soothes the mind and allows us to express our feelings, which is exactly what I do here -- but in the form of poetry and spoken word pieces. I began writing in 2016 and I like to think the content I put out is relatable and hard-hitting since there's nothing new under the sun. You'll come to find I struggle a lot but without struggles, there is no growth, and believe me, I am growing. Slowly, I am working towards publishing my own works.   1. I’m extremely impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your blog.
    Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself?
    Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it is rare to see a nice blog like this one today.
