mother’s breath.

Like a flower, you bloom; small, but strong – one kick and my world changes – one breath and we become one // you exist, and I begin again – a newfound seed buried in the soil that is your garden

Grow baby, grow

One day, you will have a field to sleep in where the grass is always soft and the sun is always set just above the horizon to feed you a permanently painted sky with hues of purple, orange, pink – it will be your meadow

A safe haven, built just for you — your garden

And I am just your beginning, your first seed of many – a “mother’s breath,” ultra-rare, only one in existence // I am yours

But let’s not dwell on formalities, for now, just call me mom

Please, just call me mom
