I still carry around your inhaler
even though I know you no longer need it
You have your own, but still
I like to think you find comfort in the fact that you have an extra one
a thousand miles away

And I hope you take my offer and come get it someday
Until then, I’ll hold onto it
During the nights when I need it myself
