Day 47 of 365

T.G.I.F everyone!

I know my blog has been quite silent this month, but I’m back and with some exciting news too!

Before I get into detail, I would also like to mention that it was my parents 25th anniversary this Valentines day and my sisters and I threw got together and threw them a surprise party. It was such a success, my mom was in tears, and my dad was so appreciative that it made all the stress leading up to that day fade away instantly. Though that’s usually how it goes. So once again, Happy Anniversary to you Mom and Dad and now to talk about these past couple weeks for ME!

To refresh your memory, here was my to-do list for this month:

  • Start my Spring of 2018 semester (and make friends this time).
  • Take new headshots!
  • Start back up at the gym. (Slowly, but permanently)
  • Make business cards (Because you don’t look professional without them!)
  • And begin processing for my new company.

And so far, I’ve made progress on almost all of these goals.

Spring semester is up and running and I decided to drop my online class since I would rather take ECON 102 (Principles of Microeconomics) in a classroom setting. I figured that if it’s for my major, I shouldn’t rush the process. I’ve also made a couple acquaintances which I hope to form into friendships in the coming future, so that’s awesome! I think this semester has a lot of opportunities to be great for me so that’s always exciting!

This Sunday, I am getting my headshots taken for my acting profile. My agent said I have too many quirky shots and not enough that make me look edgy. Correction, none at all that make me look edgy. In all honesty, I’m more likely to play a quirky character mainly because I AM a quirky character, but I told her I would do my best and THAT I SHALL. So that’s my plan for this holiday weekend.

I also started back at the gym carrying the mindset that I am okay with where I’m at right now with my body. I have absolutely no desire to push myself too hard but rather to just get my steps in for the day and swim when I can. Also, I’ve decided to transition my meat-eating diet to a more plant-based one. In other words, I’m in the process of becoming a vegan. Lately, I’ve been watching documentaries on why being a vegan is so important to our overall health since its just been something I’ve always wondered about. I watched documentaries like Vegucated and What The Health and they were both graphic and horrifying. They into depth about how diabetes and cancer as well as other health problems correlate with animal produce and how meat eaters are at a higher risk of being affected by those said diseases.

This is just a personal choice of mine, I know meat is a big source of protein and some feel that they really need it, so I’m not going to be one of those vegans that hate on society for consuming meat, I just don’t want to be a reason an animal is tortured to death anymore due to high demand.

Getting back to my list, I haven’t found the time yet to make business cards but did begin the processing for my up and coming company, with my sisters as co-owners. Hopefully by the end of this next week, I will be able reveal the name and start working on some projects!

Overall, I’m really happy with the way my life is shaping together. With education, family, and potential new friends by my side, I have no doubt that I will thrive this year. Looking forward to it.

I hope you all have a wonderful day and thank you for reading(:

Until next time,

Be seeing you. xX
